I'm not much of a blogger am I? I'll give this another shot...a year and a half later!
In June of 2009, we moved to Pensacola. An unusual situation, but God's leading none-the-less, so we followed! After much praying and Jimmy feeling a call to a different occupation, God opened the door for Jimmy to go to school full-time at Southeastern Seminary...online in Pensacola. We are living in a family home, helping out with the upkeep - which allowed Jimmy to leave his job to focus on school, and it allows me to stay home with Brynn. Crazy huh? God's plans are never what we would think of on our own, but it has proved to be a great experience, and one of a great leap of faith.
I wasn't ecstatic about moving somewhere else in Florida, and the thought of living in someone else's house with someone else's furnishings seemed a little uncomfortable, but this very quickly became home and God has provided tremendously! At times I wish we could put down roots here with the people we've met and things we're involved in, but I'm also really excited to see where we will end up in the near future.
