Final Trip Before Baby Comes

Jimmy and I had to go to a conference in NC without Brynn, so we took a little side trip.  We visited his sister Beth and her husband Aaron, then headed to the mountains to hang out in the Boone area for a couple of days.  Our first vacation without Brynn. We missed her, but it was nice...the longest I've been without changing her diapers in over two years.

Heather (32 weeks) and sister-in-law Beth (33 1/2 weeks)

Luke and Elijah's first picture together.

The boys' belly shot

Drinking our Cheerwine after a visit to the Mast General Store...simple pleasures.

Where I used to go to church with my grandparents on my summer visits...so pretty.

Love the architecture here.

Jimmy eating breakfast in the lodge of our hotel.  Ahhh....North Carolina decor!

Relaxing by the duck pond at our hotel after breakfast.  I tossed some of my bagel crumbs to the ducks and they swam away from it...weird ducks.

Back in Georgia to pick up the munchkin - we missed her.
And of course Luke can't be brought into this world without his own deer head mount....thus our souvenir from NC.

Gorgeous pictures... I love the boys' belly shot. Yum, Cheerwine... makes me want to visit NC right now. So glad you were able to take a relaxing trip before your life gets that much busier with Luke! :) Praying for a healthy baby Luke!

eI LOVE your pictures! We want to move to NC so badly - we're praying that God provides a position for Vipul there. Cheerwine - yummy! And I just found the answer to my question - and I love the name Luke. In the short time we've had with Anlon, I can say boys are wonderful!!! I'd love another boy (not just yet though :)

You are such a great photographer! NC is stunning, isn't it? I miss you so much Heather! Can't believe you're already about to have that little guy! (And ok, the deer head thing, HILARIOUS! I had to tell Artie and we both just cracked up!!! Y'all are adorable!) Love you!
